CLC - Studying at Home (2020-21)

Free School Meals

The voucher scheme is now in place to provide for children who normally receive free school meals. You should have received a text message from the school office with details of your vouchers.
Parents have now been contacted regarding the separate national school meals voucher scheme that is operating in place of the Birmingham Council scheme from 20th April 2020.

ClassDojo – Exciting Announcement!

From 20th April 2020, our studying from home will be done online using the ClassDojo platform. Teachers will be able to set tasks and assignments for their class to complete and parents will be able to upload the children’s work via the ClassDojo app or website.

ClassDojo also allows teachers to send messages and videos to guide the home studying and teachers can also receive messages from pupils and parents during school hours.

By now you should have all had a letter inviting you to register online for the ClassDojo website. Once you have registered, you will be able to use ClassDojo and make sure that you can access it from home.

Studying from Home

As part of CLC's commitment to the ongoing education of our children during this period, the staff have prepared packs of work for our children to complete at home. There are three packs for each year group focussing on reading, writing and maths and include cross-curricular links.

The children can either print the work at home and complete them on paper or work can be done straight into their school busy books.

If you are unable to access/print any of the materials please contact the school office for assistance. Where possible we have provided printed packs for pupils that we know would be unable to access these materials from out of school.

Please choose the relevant yeargroup from the box.com browser below to access the home working packs:
Alternatively, the resources are available using the following link. This may be a better solution if you are using a mobile device or tablet: https://app.box.com/s/vuesetwl0z8pzim04x985vkmsxydlq5w
